OKLAHOMA’S CARING VAN
will be at Wells Middle School
Wednesday August 2, 2017
1:00pm – 3:00pm
Saturday, April 29th brought a downpour of rain! The rain and lightning had the first Catoosa Community 5K Walk/Run participants sitting and waiting for a break in the weather. Eventually, the run was cancelled due to the harsh conditions that flooded much of northeastern Oklahoma. We would like to thank all the wonderful people that supported our first run and we hope to have better conditions for running next year!
A special thank you goes to Mrs. Melinda Ham and the 5K committee who put this event together. You did an excellent job!
Wells Middle School would also like to thank all the sponsors that helped to make this vision a reality!
Great People Create Great Acts of Kindness!
Tuesday, February 21st brought our school a wonderful surprise! Wells Middle School had a special visit from Mr. Adam Tomlinson. Mr. Tomlinson is from Farmers Insurance Agency in Catoosa and he came to our school to surprise Mrs. Karleskint with classroom supplies. Mr. Tomlinson noticed an online request that earlier this year Mrs. Karleskint had put together for the math department.
Mr. Tomlinson, thank you for thinking of our school, teachers, and students. Your act of kindness was greatly needed and greatly appreciated!

School-issued laptops click
for Catoosa students
CATOOSA — Thanks to a district-wide technology initiative, fewer Catoosa students can claim a dog ate their homework. Launched in August 2010 at Wells Middle School, Catoosa Public Schools' One-to-One program provides a Wi-Fi-enabled Apple MacBook and charger to each of the more than 1,000 secondary students in the district. This year's junior class, which was part of the One-to-One program's roll-out as eighth graders, will be Catoosa's first graduating class to have used laptops continuously in the classroom.
