Welcome to the Cherokee Elementary Website! 

• To stay informed about your child, we encourage you to use our on-line student information system,Municipal Accounting Systems (M.A.S.).  M.A.S. will allow you to see your child's grades as well as their attendance records.  To set up your account, please call or e-mail our office. Many Cherokee teachers post their lesson plans on-line.  So, be sure to check out their classroom web pages.   

 MORNING PROCEDURES

Car-riders should be dropped off at the front of the building no earlier than 8:00 AM. If car-riders arrive before 8:20, they are to report to the cafeteria.    If they arrive after 8:20, they can go directly to class.

Bus Riders will be dropped off at the cafeteria.

Students will be counted Tardy if they are not in their seats at 8:30 when the bell rings. They will need to report to the office to get a tardy slip. Four Tardy's count as 1 absence when keeping track of attendance.

Please call and notify us if your child will be absent each day.

4th grade lunch is at 12:00

5th grade lunch is at 11:00

*The Cherokee Student of the Month Assemblies will be held on the last Thursday of each month at 9:00 AM. Parents are always welcome.

  You can help our School by collecting box tops!  Mrs. Ratzlaff is in charge of the boxtops program and would appreciate your help.

Students that reach their monthly AR goal will receive popcorn on designated popcorn days at the end of each month. If they reach their goal each month, they will be able to attend our bi-annual reading event and win prizes. Please encourage your kids to be reading and taking AR tests.

Oklahoma State Tests will be the week of April 10th through the 17th. Please avoid making appointments during this week.
