On February 9th and April 19th students in grades 6th - 12th will be dismissed at 1:30 PM. The buses will run one hour early. ALL teachers will be required to participate in vertical planning with the high school teachers by subject area. This early school dismissal is only for Wells Middle School and Catoosa High School.

During the school year, the front office is open Monday through Friday from 7:30 A.M. to 3:00 P.M. If you need to visit with a school administrator, they are available from 7:45 A.M. to 3:00 P.M.
To stay informed about your child, we encourage you to use our on-line student information system, Municipal Accounting Systems (M.A.S.). M.A.S. will allow you to see your child's grades as well as their attendance records for each class. To set up your account, please e-mail our school counselor. Wells Middle School's teachers are also required to post their lesson plans on-line.

State Testing Information:
Parents please try and make sure that your student gets plenty of rest the night before and eats a good breakfast the morning of testing as to afford each student the ability to pass their end of the year testing. While there are make-up days built into the testing schedule, it is still very important that each student be present on the days of testing to ensure that they are able to take each of their tests.

April 12 6th Grade reading Test and 8th Grade History Test
April 13 make-up testing
April 16 7th Grade Geography Testing
April 17 make-up testing
April 18 8th Grade Science, 7th Grade reading and 6th Grade Math Testing

Procedures for Morning Arrival:
All students report to the cafeteria when they arrive in the morning. Our cafeteria is open for breakfast starting at 7:00 A.M. Students stay in the cafeteria until they are dismissed by grade level to go to their lockers and 1st hour class. Please note: Wells Middle School students are not allowed to go to the high school in the morning unless they have 1st hour athletics.
