Meow Wolf eat your heart out! Helen Paul’s K-3rd grade students created a wonderful blacklight art show under the instruction of Stephanie Hughes and Lesa Sunny! On Thursday, the show was on display for one spectacular day and evening. Helen Paul students had several pieces of art within the collection.
Mrs. Hughes wrote a grant for the art show and held instruction about coral reefs as students worked on their Octopus’s Garden Art Show. Mrs. Hughes was inspired by the Beetles “Octopus’s Garden" song and wanted her students to have a museum experience that they would not forget.
Upon entering the show in the evening, children were able to construct a bracelet that would glow in the dark. Students pointed out several of their works of art to to their parents.
