Hello CPS families,
Catoosa Public Schools is considering launching an After School Extended Day Program for the 2024-2025 school year to address the need for quality after-school care. The program will provide students with a safe and nurturing environment, offering homework help, nutritious snacks, and physical activities. We will strive to support academic achievement, build self-esteem, and foster character development. The program will be held at Cherokee Elementary and cater to pre-kindergarten through fifth-grade students. We seek your input through a brief survey (one per child) to ensure its success.

Tomorrow is picture retakes day for 8th-12th grades students from 8am-2pm in the library. Also, Seniors will have their cap and gown panel pictures tomorrow. Seniors, please wear a black shirt or blouse. Caps and gowns will be provided.

Parent/Teacher Conferences are Monday 10/16 and Tuesday 10/17 from 4:30-7:30 each night. You can sign up to meet with any of your student's teachers at https://www.myconferencetime.com/catoosahs/. To get Fall MAP Test scores (8th-10th only), grade report, and attendance report please sign up with your student's Advocacy Teacher. You can always check attendance and grades in the Parent Portal. If you need help with getting into the Parent Portal please email afaulkner@catoosa.k12.ok.us.
CHS will also be hosting a College and Career Night from 4:30-6 on Monday 10/16 in the main lobby area for students and families to visit with local colleges and trade schools.

We are aware of the news reports about bomb threats targeting Oklahoma schools. We have not directly received any information about threats towards our schools, but we are always monitoring for safety and security.

8th-12th grade CHS students can pick up their schedule and Chromebook Monday(7/31) and Tuesday(8/1) from 8-11 and 12-3. Schedules and Chromebooks can be picked up Thursday(8/3) from 4:30-6:30 during our Back To School Night as well. Beat the lines and come Monday or Tuesday!
8th, 9th, and New Student Orientation will be Tuesday evening from 6-7pm in the Dome. If you cannot attend please look over the CHS Introduction Presentation in the link below.
