History comes alive! Thanks to the Gilder Lehrman Institute, which generously loaned us the World War II: Voices of Service Traveling Exhibition, our 11th Grade U.S. History classes took part in an engaging scavenger hunt. 🗺️✍️ They explored inspiring stories of courage and sacrifice from this pivotal era as a start to their WWII research projects. 🌍📖
Mrs. Barrett's physical science classes explored heat transfer by cooking marshmallows via different methods of heat transfer. When you're cooking marshmallows, you may as well make s'mores! Needless to say, the students really loved this investigation.
We are proud to announce that two talented students from the Catoosa High School Band have achieved the prestigious honor of earning a place on the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Band Directors Association All State Honor Band. This week CHS Forensic Science Students learned the various search patterns that investigators use when searching crime scenes. To build on that, they went outside and performed a grid search of a large area to use their observation skills to find items as small as an earring back.
