All Catoosa Indians, including current students, employees, alumni, and family, are invited to join Catoosa Public Schools in celebrating Homecoming Week from September 23-27, 2024. Community events will include the Homecoming parade, a pep rally, a Homecoming coronation, and the Catoosa High School Homecoming football game. The Homecoming parade, scheduled for 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27th, will start lining up at 3:45 at Helen Paul Learning Center. CPS student groups, Catoosa youth programs, and others will be participating in the Homecoming parade. On Friday evening, the Catoosa Indians will take on the Grove Ridgerunners at Frank McNabb Field, starting at 7:00 p.m., with the Homecoming coronation starting at 6:00 p.m. Students in all grades will get to participate in themed dress-up days throughout Homecoming Week. CHS Families, 9th-12th grade schedules are now available for viewing via the Parent PowerSchool Portal and the PowerSchool App. Please continue to visit the portal and app before Monday to see if there have been any changes or updates to your student's schedule. We will have paper copies of schedules available Monday morning in the Twist Lobby if a student needs one. 8th grade students continue to follow the schedules you picked up Thursday evening. Updated schedules will be available Monday if a change was made recently. Paper copies of schedules will be available Monday morning in the Twist Lobby if a student needs a copy. Students will be able to request a schedule change next week via a form that will be emailed to them. Students need to follow the schedule they have have until counselors send them a new schedule. Please note that updated schedules can be viewed in the Parent PowerSchool Portal and PowerSchool App at anytime. CHS Families, Today we will have our Back to School Event from 4:30-6:30. During this time students and families can meet teachers, walk the building, pay their Chromebook annual usage/insurance fee, and pick up a Chromebook. Below is some information regarding Chromebook pick up and student schedules. 1. Make sure your student is completely enrolled with CPS. 2. If your student still has their Chromebook from last year bring it to school so we can scan it to activate it. 3. Pay your usage/insurance annual fee online via MySchoolBucks or pay cash during our Back to School Event. The MySchoolBucks link can be found on the district website. 4. To pick up a Chromebook or to activate a Chromebook a student must be completely enrolled with the district and have a receipt showing the usage/insurance fee has been paid. 5. 9th-12th Students and Guardians can look for class schedules via the Parent PowerSchool Portal. Schedules might not be complete today, but we will continue to work on them. Please check the Parent PowerSchool Portal often for changes. 6. 8th Grade students can pick up their paper schedule tonight, but please check the Parent PowerSchool Portal often for updated schedules. 7. *Attention 8th-12th Grade CHS Families* Early Bird Chromebook Distribution Information Students can pick up their Chromebook at the high school after all enrollment is completed. Pick up times and dates: Thursday 8/1 and Monday 8/5: 8am-11am and 12pm-3pm Thursday 8/9: 4:30pm-6:30pm Students will pick up a Chromebook and pay an annual usage fee of $30. Chromebook insurance is included in the annual usage fee. The annual usage fee needs to be paid before a student can receive a Chromebook or have their Chromebook turned back on if a student still has one from last year. UPDATE as of 5/22/2024 at 1:10 PM. As you know, we have been closely monitoring the weather forecast for our graduation ceremony on Thursday, May 23, at 7:00 PM. Based on the most current information available from the National Weather Service and the Tulsa Area Emergency Management Agency, we have decided to move the ceremony indoors to the Catoosa Indian Activity Center (CIAC). This location change will ensure that our seniors—and their families—can celebrate safely on Thursday evening. Please note the following: 1. The main doors to the CIAC will open at 6:00 PM 2. The ceremony will start promptly at 7:00 PM 3. Tickets are NOT required 4. NO reserved seating 5. For those that can not attend, the ceremony will be streamed via the Catoosa Public Schools Facebook page We are super proud of the class of 2024 and can not wait to see them turn their tassels tomorrow evening.

The program will provide students with a safe and nurturing environment, offering homework help, nutritious snacks, and physical activities. CHS Families, Parent/Teacher Conferences are Monday 10/16 and Tuesday 10/17 from 4:30-7:30 each night. To get Fall MAP Test scores (8th-10th only), grade report, and attendance report please sign up with your student's Advocacy Teacher. You can always check attendance and grades in the Parent Portal.
